The kitten who used up one of her nine-lives on Wednesday when she was nearly killed by a car, is no longer alone. Tinkerbell's brother, Peter Pan, arrived this afternoon. His arrival was delayed because he was found a day later than his sister.
Cats don't always show affection towards their siblings, especially when they are so young, but we want to believe that Tinkerbell and Peter Pan feel better having something that is familiar close by. What we do believe to be true is both of them would like nothing more than to have their mother with them also.
We thank the person who took care of both Tinkerbell and Peter Pan until they could be brought to one of our SNUGGLE Pet Rescue Foster Care Volunteers. She did a great job. It was a team effort getting these two rescued, cared for, transported and now settled in together so they can get back to the business of growing up.
When we all pitch in and do our part it feels good and it's the animals that benefit when we work together!
