LOOKING FOR HELP WITH NEWBORN KITTENS OR PUPPIES

Rescuing orphaned and special needs kittens and puppies who require foster care due to illness or injuries.

Triage and General Care of Kittens and Puppies Starting With Neonates

The link below will take you to our Taking Care of Kittens and Puppies Handbook that has been complied by our experienced Foster Care Volunteers since SNUGGLE Pet Rescue began in 2004.  We always remain open to new and better ways of taking care of our fosters, which is why some of our practices have changed over the years.  The information included in this handbook are our most current practices and we are confident they result in the kittens and puppies we care for having the best chance possible of surviving.  Along with what we do, we rely on our veterinarians experienced in treating neonates and older kittens and puppies.

We hope you find this information helpful and that it results in more kittens and puppies being saved!

FOR NON-EMERGENCIES ONLY!
We Do Not Have a Shelter
All the kittens and puppies SNUGGLE Pet Rescue receives are placed in Foster Homes with our trained Volunteers.  We then network
with thoroughly screened local animal
rescue organizations to find forever homes
when the kittens and puppies are healthy
and old enough to adopt.
