SNUGGLE Pet Rescue is asking our Friends for your help on December 2nd. This is the day that people around the world support the charities in their communities that help people and animals every single day. Our goal is to raise $10,000 which will be used for veterinary expenses.

We never let the cost of what it will take to save our fosters stop us. But veterinary care is not inexpensive, especially when our fosters need to be seen by specialists. We recently paid a bill that covered the costs for a number of different kittens treated in one month and it was just over $14,000. The quality of life for an injured or sick kitten is always taken into consideration, but as long as they are not suffering and there is an ounce of hope they will survive and go on to live a normal life, we don't hesitate and move forward. With your help we can make it possible to keep saying yes when a kitten is struggling and it will require the skills of a veterinarian to save them, in addition to the TLC our experienced Foster Care Volunteers give them around the clock.

We will be providing more details about Giving Tuesday on our Facebook page between now and December 2.  If you can help, we guarantee your contribution will save the lives of the fragile kittens we specialize in caring for. Not a lot of organizations are equipped to care for newborn kittens and puppies, which is why we need to be able to continue to do what we do.

Thanks to everyone who helped make it possible for us to keep helping kittens and puppies like the ones above,
all of which SNUGGLE Pet Rescue has cared for.
Fall Arts and Crafts Fairs
This Holiday Season why not shop and at the same time
help SNUGGLE Pet Rescue's Kittens and Puppies too!

SNUGGLE Pet Rescue had booths at two different Arts and Crafts Fairs during the month of November.  At these events we sold our handmade fleece cat and dog beds which your furry kids would love, or you can give some as gifts.  We also had a selection of handmade cat and dog toys that make great stocking stuffers.  For the first time we also sold our very own calendar for 2026.  There are 37 photos of some of our most adorable kittens and puppies, as well as tips on how to keep these youngsters safe and happy.  The money raised by selling these items benefit our fosters.

Celebrate Wildwood
Saturday, September 20 - 10:00 am to 9:30 pm
Village Green on Wildwood's Main Street

SNUGGLE Pet Rescue had a booth at Wildwood's 30th year city celebration from 11:00 am to 6:30 p.m.!  We were selling our handmade cat and dog beds as well as an assortment of toys, dog treat and tote bags.  The proceeds from the sales helps support the kittens and puppies we are caring for.

People had so much fun helping our kittens and puppies as well as shopping and enjoying all the other festivities.  We will be at the event again in 2026, so watch for the announcements on our Events page.

Benefiting SNUGGLE Pet Rescue's Kittens and Puppies

Thanks to our family and friends who joined us at PF Chang's to raise some money for the SNUGGLE Pet Rescue kittens and puppies.  We had some of our Foster Care Volunteers at the restaurant from 4pm to 7 pm, along with the kittens they are currently taking care of.  This was a great opportunity to meet these amazing individuals, their adorable fosters and enjoy a great meal.

Give STL Day Annual Event
May 8, 2025

$4,132
Was Raised for
Our Kittens and Puppies
Thanks to everyone who donated to SNUGGLE Pet Rescue during this year's Give STL annual day of giving.  The $4,132 could not have arrived at a better time.  We have in our care now a puppy named Lucy, and a kitten named Rupert who both need surgery to take care of their damaged eyes.  Both surgeries will be expensive but that is what SNUGGLE Pet Rescue is here for - to take care of the kittens and puppies that other organizations do not have the available resources to be able to provide the lifesaving care.

These two little fighters will get through this ordeal, and they have our dedicated Foster Care Volunteers, our incredibly talented veterinarians and the generous individuals who support SNUGGLE Pet Rescue throughout the year to thank.  We truly could not accomplish what we do without our amazing team who have changed the lives of so many kittens and puppies!

14th Annual Trivia Night
April 26, 2025

Trivia Night was once again a huge success.  Fun was definitely had by all who attended.  Some amazing items were won by those who bid on them during the auction.  And everyone showed off their knowledge of obscure facts while playing Trivia.  We are always so amazed at how smart everyone is.

Thanks to all those who attended, those who donated items for the auction and to our incredible team of volunteers who once again created a really fun event that will make it possible for SNUGGLE Pet Rescue to help even more animals in the future.

Something different did happen this year. SNUGGLE Pet Rescue's Founder and Director Sharon Maag, made the announcement she is stepping back after 21 years of being our amazing leader and inspiration.  It was her awareness that newborn kittens and puppies often fall through the cracks when they are in need of care that led her to start SNUGGLE Pet Rescue in 2014.  We have all learned so much from her through the years and there is no way we could begin to count and remember every kitten and puppy that got a fighting chance at life because of Sharon's determination not to give up on them.

Thankfully Sharon will still be involved with SNUGGLE Pet Rescue.  Over the last year or so she has been grooming volunteers to assume some of the roles she has had.  Sharon has done an amazing job of planting seeds that will allow the organization to continue to grow and save even more abandoned, injured and sick kittens and puppies.

FOR NON-EMERGENCIES ONLY!
We Do Not Have a Shelter
All the kittens and puppies SNUGGLE Pet Rescue receives are placed in Foster Homes with our trained Volunteers.  We then network
with thoroughly screened local animal
rescue organizations to find forever homes
when the kittens and puppies are healthy
and old enough to adopt.
