Decker, Ewig, Frisco, Gridley Girl and Midas Boy

Meet Decker, Ewig, Frisco, Gridley Girl and Midas Boy. The 3 boys and 2 girls were all from one litter. Life was going along normally for the family when tragedy struck. A dog showed up at the farm where they were born in Steelville and killed the mother. Without her to feed the kittens, SNUGGLE Pet Rescue was contacted.

Being another cat dumped in the country, presented its dangers for this mom, which unfortunately proved true. Living outside, it could very well have been a wild animal or bird of prey that took her life instead. Without a mother to protect them the kittens were in even more danger. Thankfully, the person who lived at the farm cared enough to get the 2-1/2-week-old kittens to safety.

The sibling's mom was doing a great job of raising her babies. When SNUGGLE Pet Rescue got them, they were all healthy and plump. They are continuing to thrive, but we suspect they would have preferred it was their mother taking care of them. Little do they know now, but they have a far better life ahead of them. If only their mother knew her babies will not be growing up to be strays like her.
