EVERY SUCCESS IS A TESTAMENT TO COMPASSION

Rescuing orphaned and special needs kittens and puppies who require foster care due to illness or injuries.

Some of SNUGGLE Pet Rescue's Proudest Accomplishments

Every kitten and puppy that thrives while under the care of SNUGGLE Pet Rescue is a success.  Even the ones that lose their fight to live we are proud of them for how hard they tried.  Then there are the ones who really got to us.  Their initial prognosis was not good, but they were not ready to give up and neither were we.  Here are some of their incredible stories.
Bruno

Bruno and his littermates came to SNUGGLE Pet Rescue after they were found outside without a mom.  Sadly, he is the only surviving member of his litter.  He is now a beautiful fluffy boy living in his forever home.

Frederica

Frederica was found on the side of the road suffering from head trauma, a broken jaw, an exposed tail bone and missing teeth.  After lots of care she recovered and was adopted by a family that adores her.

Betsy

Betsy came to SNUGGLE Pet Rescue with deformed back legs.  She required corrective surgery after casts didn't work.  After 433 days of care her foster family adopted her, and she is getting around just fine.

Jack

Jack's mom couldn't feed him because of his cleft mouth.  He was just 6-hours old when SNUGGLE Pet Rescue got him.  Thankfully, he was able to drink from a bottle and Jack is now a thriving big, healthy boy.

Lucy

Lucy came to SNUGGLE Pet Rescue with a damaged left eye.  Our veterinarian determined it was ruptured, and it had to be removed.  Having sight in only one eye has not slowed down this wiggle worm.

Snoopy

Snoopy had a traumatic brain injury when SNUGGLE Pet Rescue got him.  He still has seizures, circles to the left and trouble with house training.  His family loves him though, and he loves playing with other dogs.

Lucas was 2 days old when SNUGGLE Pet Rescue got him. He was diagnosed with cerebellar hypoplasia.  He still has uncoordinated movements, head tremors and sways.  Our founder added him to her family.

Lucas
Spirit

Spirit was diagnosed by a cardiologist with a heart murmur after SNUGGLE Pet Rescue got her.  She required surgery and she recovered completely thanks to her foster mom.  A family opened their hearts to her.

Froggy

Froggy was born with a deformity to her lowest rib which caused her spinal cord to be smaller than normal.  Her new family loves her just as she is, and she repays them with love every day.

"It's such a comfort to know I can contact SNUGGLE Pet Rescue when I learn of a newborn kitten or puppy that needs special help.  No one is better at giving these tiny babies that chance at life they deserve. It doesn't matter how sick or injured they are, the organization always takes then.  The Foster Care Volunteers are incredible and giving up is never an option.  SNUGGLE Pet Rescue fills a void because no one else in our area does what they do, and they do it so incredibly well.  Our community is lucky to have this effective and unique organization."
"I've been involved with SNUGGLE Pet Rescue for over 20 years.  As a Foster Care Volunteer, I have taken care of some amazing kittens for the organization.  Two of them were kittens who tested positive for Feline Leukemia.  SNUGGLE Pet Rescue does not give up which is why I support them.  Chubbers and Sky were given six months to live.  They have been a part of my family now for 13 years.  They were lucky to have ended up with SNUGGLE Pet Rescue and we were lucky to have them join our family."
"The partnership between SNUGGLE Pet Rescue and the Pet Adoption Center has resulted in countless animals being given a chance at life.  No matter how sick or injured a kitten or puppy is, they are there to take the ones we don't have the time or skills to take care of.  It requires a great deal of time to give some of these babies what they need, but the volunteers never quit.  They give it their all 24/7. If a kitten or puppy does not make it, they at least knew what it felt like to be loved.  The compassion SNUGGLE Pet Rescue shows towards animals is inspiring."
"SNUGGLE Pet Rescue volunteers are the heart and soul of the organization.  It's amazing how they consistently rely on their specialized skills and endless compassion to give neonates a life they'd most likely miss out on.  They are the go-to organization in our area for rescue groups and even veterinarians when they don't have the resources to provide the incredible amount of time and money required to bring these babies back from the brink of death.  Thousands of animals owe their lives to SNUGGLE Pet Rescue."
"SNUGGLE Pet Rescue is extraordinary.  They only take care of neonate kittens and puppies that are fostered in the homes of selfless volunteers.  They are my favorite charity to give to because all donations go to the food and medical needs of these tiny babies.  SNUGGLE Pet Rescue has saved thousands of lives. Each volunteer gives more than 100% of their time and compassion to their fosters.  The Difference We Make page on SNUGGLE Pet Rescue's new website gives further insight to what this organization is able to accomplish."

Pet Rescue

We Do Not Have a Shelter
All the kittens and puppies SNUGGLE Pet Rescue receives are placed in Foster Homes with our trained Volunteers.  We then network
with thoroughly screened local animal
rescues to find forever homes
when the kittens and puppies are healthy
and old enough to adopt.
